Paul De Andrade

Paul De Andrade is the founder and creative director of Studio Kestrel, a boutique interior design studio devoted to crafting holistic, nature-driven environments that merge organic modernism with the principles of feng shui and sustainability.

Before launching the firm in 2019, his path moved through biomedical engineering at Georgia Tech and research at Harvard, followed by a years-long odyssey—cycling from Atlanta to Buenos Aires, riding motorcycles across Southeast Asia and India, and teaching throughout South America and Europe. These travels shaped his understanding of human energy, rhythm, and comfort, and now inform every space he designs.

Today, Paul leads projects across New York, the Hamptons, Miami, and Los Angeles, creating interiors that feel grounded yet quietly transcendent. His portfolio includes residences in 432 Park Avenue, The Woolworth Building, 1 West End Avenue, The Four Seasons Downtown, 57 Ocean Miami Beach, and 50 West 66th Street. With each project, he draws on natural materials, soft curvature, sunlight, and spatial flow to cultivate warmth, balance, and emotional resonance.

Guided by the belief that great design should enhance wellness and deepen our connection to nature, Paul has shaped Studio Kestrel’s ethos into something both worldly and deeply personal—an extension of his lifelong pursuit of environments that support the human spirit.
